fraus : Furniture Restoration & Upholstery Services, while based in Scotland, now offer a nationwide service for customers with removable seat pads which can be easily posted to and from our workshop.
We offer seat weaving in natural rush, paper fibre rush, cordon, seagrass, Danish cord and cane- either sheet caned or hand caned.
Whether you have an old rush chair with a dilapidated seat, or a Cesca (Habitat cantilever) chair with broken strands on the seat or back panel of sheet cane, we can help.

How does it work?
First of all, get in touch with us to find out if what you need done is something we can help with, click the contact us button shown below and let us know what you have in need of attention.
Secondly, package up your seat and/or back frames carefully and securely, then post them to us with the details we will supply you with. We insist on recorded and insured delivery which must be paid by yourself, we cover the postage cost for your pieces return back to you.
